Adria & Jim's Engagement Session

Every time I shoot I'm reminded how much I love my job, and how blessed I am that people trust me to interpret and translate their personalities and their love for each other into a piece of art. I love getting to know my couples and their style...it broadens my horizons as an artist, and they enrich my life, in general. The plan for Jim and Adria was to capture a few frames and then walk to the Art Museum, where we would hopefully capture a few more. The traffic in the city was crazy that day, and the sunshine high in the clear sky, so we figured we might as well take advantage of the day! The walk provided us with more photo opps than driving from A to B ever could have. We had a great day diverting from their comfort zones a bit and just letting loose. Jim and Adria were great! Very much in love...naturals in front of the camera. The wedding is in August 2010 so family, friends, I hope this holds you over until then!

Introducing GLAM THE DRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not ready to trash the dress but dying for some fun, edgy pix? That's why I'm officially instating Glam the Dress. I've had two shoots so far-- three brides total-- and all of them pulled out their favorite accessories! Belts, hats, scarves, props, leggings, funky shoes. Then we set out through Philly, taking pictures in places you would never choose on an ordinary day: in a tattoo parlor, on top of a phone booth, on the hoods of cars, in alleyways, and even in fountains! It's produced nothing but good feedback and edgy images that you may like even better than your wedding portraits! Contact me to book!

Jenn and Todd Beebe

Jenn and Todd Beebe are finally happily married! The day was spectacular, with sunshine and a breeze. Jenn's inner artist was strewn about the Merion Tribute house in stunning decor...I couldn't believe how she'd managed to transform the place!! Here are pictures from their fairytale wedding. So about a month or so ago, I did a senior portrait shoot with a girl named Sam. (yes, that's how bad I am at blogging!) We rode together to "the spot" and really hit it off. She was a natural in front of the camera-- workin' it somethin' fierce. :) I was proud of her! These are her favorites.
