Sorry...I'm playing catch up from Turkey Day-- which was excellent, by the way! One other shoot I had that weekend was for Jenn. We did partial "woo woo" and the normal ones with her doggies! Here are a few of the doggie pictures.
...you didn't actually think i'd put the "woo woo" ones here, did you? Shame on you.
This past weekend I had two shoots: My brothers-in-law, and my nephews and Noah (my son). Pictures are the best thing to give in-laws for Christmas! We all crammed into my Altima and went to Brynn Athen cathedral. It's an awesome place for pictures-- the architecture is stunning! Here are a few of my favorites from the shoot: After that session, we crammed BACK into the Altima and drove to a nearby playground for the younger boys' shoot. It was hard to get the twins grounded to one spot for more than a few seconds, but we did manage. Here are some of my favs from that:
Good times were had by all!! In the way of news, I'm running a special on senior and family portraits. Check it out on the "specials" page of my website: www.collierimages.com
One of the shoots I did in early October was for the Campbell family. The goal was just to get some fun, relaxed pix of the family together, and portraits of the boys. Everyone really opened up and had a good time letting their true colors show. It's always hard to pick favorites, but here are some of mine from that day:
Don't you just love getting those cute little photo greetings on Christmas??? They're so much better than cards-- you can keep them and add them to your photo wall! I have so many I've had to make my house more Pottery Barn like, to accommodate them all. I love their huge, full-wall collages, with pictures of all sizes leaning against each other.
If you want to book your Holiday shoot, you can save 20% off the normal price if you book before November 1st!!! Email us to book: suzanne@collierimages.com.
We took Noah to a pumpkin Patch this weekend with some friends of ours: Derek, Leslie, and their little boy Braeden. Fall is the perfect time for family portraits outdoors! The changing leaves, pumpkins, mums...they all provide beautiful backdrops. These are great portraits to add to your Christmas greeting cards, too! It's refreshing to see a different season when you feel like the cold will never end.
Our son Noah was dedicated this past weekend (similar to a Christening). We were supposed to have the party outdoors but the sky opened up and the whole weekend was rain! We did manage to snag a few outdoor family pictures prior to the start of it, though. My friend Mike was kind enough to be the photographer for the day.
In spite of the weather, everything went well! Fun was had by all.
